LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

We are happy to already have lots of snow filling our playground!! We are also excited knowing more snow will come (and hopefully temperatures warm enough to go enjoy it!) Please make sure your child has all the necessary gear to play outside. (Hats, boots, mittens, snow pants, and winter jacket).

Extra clothes and extra socks

Please make sure to CLEARLY LABEL all items with your child’s name. Also, don’t forget to check labels before taking their things home to be sure you have what belongs to your child.

Ark Preschool Begins:

September 6, 2016! On August 29th we will be moving up to our new classrooms, if we didn't already move up this summer, and getting to know each other and our teachers. This is so exciting!

Sprinkler time

Sprinkler time is still a favorite activity for all our children. PLEASE make sure all bathing suits and towels are labeled so we can return them to you at the end of each week. It is difficult for the staff to remember which towel belongs to which child. If you are missing a towel, please let us know. It probably ended up in the Ark's laundry.

USDA/CACFP

Our meal program continues to be a great SUCCESS! Your children benefit from well balanced meals, huge weekly savings to your food budget each week and the convenience of not packing lunchboxes. It is re-enrollment time in the USDA food program.

School Bus Pick up/Drop off times

Winnisquam School District begins school on August 29th. The school bus picks up here at 8:05 AM and your child will receive breakfast if he/she arrives before 7:45 AM. The kindergarten bus drops off at 11:40 AM and the afternoon bus drops off at 3:40 PM.

Sprinkler Days are upon us!

Please remember to bring your child's towel and bathing suit every Monday to be returned every Friday. Please label your child's clothes. We do sprinklers on all nice days!

If we experience excessive heat and humidity, our Infants, Toddlers and the Preschool may not go outside every afternoon. Be not dismayed, we do work to get them outside every morning!

Reminders

  • We are celebrating Summer with a Special BBQ lunch on Friday, July 15th!
  • If your child naps here at The Ark, you need to supply a sheet and blanket for naptime.
